Bettie L. (Henry) Reigle

Bettie L. Reigle, age 90, of 62 Steis Drive, Ridgway, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at her residence peacefully surrounded by her family.  She was born on August 12, 1931, in Tiffin, Ohio, daughter of the late Harold and Margaret (Grogg) Henry of Ohio.  On July 17, 1948 she married Andrew Reigle who preceded her in death.  They lived in Pennsylvania for 25 years and owned the Shelvey Summit Ski Lodge.  They then moved to Key Largo, Florida for 20 years.  They moved back to PA to be closer to their family.  

Bettie leaves behind a son Lon Reigle along with Janice of Kersey, a daughter Lynn Greenawalt along with Jim of Ridgway, a sister Karolee Hughes with husband Gene of Florida.  She is also survived by four grandchildren Tracy (Calvin) Robinson, Andy (Michelle) Reigle II, Taryn (Rhonda) Greenawalt, and Waylon (Amanda) Reigle, also 6 great-grandchildren Tyler Robinson, Katerra Runyan, Kaylin Runyan, Noel Reigle, Sophia Reigle, and Vivian Reigle.  She also has two nieces and one nephew living in Florida.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

There will be no visitation or memorial service.  All donations may be made to the Elk County Humane Society.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Thompson Funeral Home.  Share your online condolences at thompsonfuneralhomepa.com
